 Imran Khan, the former Prime Minister of Pakistan, has been arrested by police stationed at his residence in Lahore. In the Toshakhana case, a court in the country issued a non-bailable arrest warrant for Imran Khan. The warrant was served today at his home by the police.

In a series of tweets, police stated that officers had gathered at Imran Khan's residence in Lahore to arrest him. But he was not discovered there. However, Imran Khan, according to Dawn, addressed the leaders and activists present at his residence.

Due to his continued absence from the hearing of the Toshakhana case, the Islamabad session court issued a non-bailable arrest warrant for Imran Khan on February 28. He was charged with concealing the acquisition and sale of state gifts.During his time as Prime Minister. Imran Khan, on the other hand, has denied the allegations.

On Sunday, Islamabad police officers went to Imran Khan's house to enforce the court order. They were joined by Punjab Police officers. A large number of police officers were seen in front of Imran Khan's Lahore residence. Meanwhile, PTI leaders and activists gathered in front of Imran's house and began protesting the arrival of police to arrest the party chief.

Akbar Nasir Khan, Inspector General of Police Islamabad, told Geo TV that a team of police from Islamabad had traveled to Lahore to arrest Imran Khan. They didn't just show up to hand over the arrest warrant. Their first task is to get noticed.Imran Khan should be arrested as soon as possible.

Meanwhile, PTI leader and former Information Minister Fawad Chowdhury addressed the situation to reporters in front of Imran Khan's residence. He confirmed that officers had arrived to carry out the arrest warrant. According to Fawad Chowdhury, the police believe Imran Khan is attempting to avoid arrest. However, the police's coercion to arrest him is illegal.
